Are there any good hotels or apartments in the area?
Lisbon is a city full of apartments and great hotels. It is always a question whether the best is to live close to the festival area and then travel to the city center from time to time, or if you’d rather live in the city center and then go to the festival area when you have a ticket? If you are planning on being there several days, it is useful to live close to the park, because the program lasts for 12-14 hours, so you will not have a lot of spare time for sightseeing before or after the concerts.

How can I get to the festival area?
If you have a lot of energy, it is approximately 10km between the city center of Lisbon and the festival area for Rock in Rio Lisboa. Would you rather get it done in a faster way and without burning so many calories? The easiest method for traveling to this area is by using the metro. You need to travel almost all the way towards the airport on the red line and get off the metro at either Moscavide (nearest stop) or at the stop Oriente. This is a beautiful area in Lisbon, so walking here is worth doing even if you are not planning on going to the actual festival.
